Good news

Went to visit mum tonight and she's been told she should get out tomorrow :o) It will be much less of a strain on my sisters as they both live up beside mum and that is approx 65 miles from here...My best mate came up with me tonight with her two wee ones so that cheered mum up no end...Even managed to get her almost 2 year old who not long started talking to say mums name <ggg> He's such a wee darling :o) ...So fingers crossed i will get a call tomorrow saying she is getting out...Good that she will also be home for the funeral and i have said i will sit with her if am allowed to...

More good news...That toe rag eldest son of mine FORGOT to give me his report card when he got 3 weeks before end of term...He remembered on sat LOL...Well he is doing fantastic and on course to get a credit level pass in all 5 subjects he has been allowed to do...He's not doing the full amount of standard grades his school do as i din't think he could handle all the homework...Any homework he does get is usually done in the base...Any he does have to take home he gets mega stressed about...Even english he is down as being credit level 2 just now!!!!...Glad to see english teacher has said he needs support though as i keep saying he needs it...Hope the base listen...I did have to laugh at head of the base comments...Quote 'It is particularly pleasing to see that he shows a good understanding of the work covered in geography.  Historically, this is a subject which pupils with an ASD have generally found difficult, due to the ambiguous language used within the subject area'   She had to get a dig in LOL...Last year i insisted that he be allowed to do geog...She had said no as no pupil that had been through the base had managed it before...I stood my ground and said he could be the first...And hey i been proved right :o) ...Instead she could have mentioned the fact that he got 100% for his drawing ability in graphic comm...No-one else got 100%...

Daugher is not happy with me as i have said she looks like neopolitan ice cream <gggg> ...The pink bits from last week are now brown...She still has white bits and even though she was covered in suncream and reapplied it often today she is mega pink...So i was in the bad books until she wanted aftersun put on LOL...She did enjoy the beach party though and it was a gorgeous day for it...Managed to mow the postage stamp sized bit of grass...Think i broke the strimmer though...Oh well at least it wasn't the mower it belongs to bloke downstairs...Lost 2 n half lbs when i got weighed tonight...Should have been more as that was over 2 weeks but not eaten properly this past week...Still it's a loss which is better than a gain :o) ...Toodle pip tc xx

Yay for the weight loss!
I'm glad your Mum is going home tomorrow, hopefully.  No matter how nice the nurses, it's always horrible in hospital isn't it.  I'm sure she will soon be lots better once she is home.
Your eldest is doing very well, I bet you're bursting with pride!  Good for you, standing your ground over the geography thing :o)
Lol at the neopolitan ice cream!!
