Busy Sunday

Well the boys were at respite today and they went tenpin bowling there...G had the top score so he was chuffed...His score was 136 with 2 full strikes and 5 half strikes...Whilst they were at respite first i read the papers and watched X Factor as i missed part of it last night...Then i went and lifted the old lino in the kitchen...Washed the floorboards and laid the new tiles down...Looks so much better now and much lighter as they are beige/natural colour...The old lino was so worn that even just washed the floor looked manky :o/  I do need another packet of tiles though but the missing bits are where they can't be seen at the mo...As i'd laid the nice new floor i decided to then give the kitchen a good old clear out LOL.

That fire in Hemel Hempstead is awful...See they are saying on the news just now they are still tackling the blaze...Thank goodness no-one was hurt or killed...I feel so sorry for the people whose houses have been hit by it too...The air there must be horrible :o(  I guess it's lucky it wasn't on a weekday where people would have been at work there at the terminal...Pray that no louts go and try and steal from the evacuated houses/flats...Tomorrow morning i have another appointment with the psychiartist...Then in the afternoon i am going to see M's school christmas show :o) ...They have one tomorrow then another on tues morning...He wants to wear his dress shirt and tie so i'll have to iron it...Think that can wait until morning...The small alpine range can get done later in the week <ggg> My hands are okish today but my feet are groaning at me as is my face LOL...At least i got the floor done so am chuffed...Anyways i am off for a bath now as i feel yeuch

Toodle pip tc xx

G must have been so pleased with himself at getting top score...and with them at respite it gave you a chance to lay the new tiles in your kitchen...glad you are pleased with the result...
See on the news the fire is still raging in Hemel Hempstead, hope they manage to tackle the flames today....there are a lot of policemen on duty there so hope they will protect the houses that have been evacuated,,,,
Goof luck with your appointment  - and enjoy M's Christmas show ......Ally

Bet the new floor looks nice.  Well done to your boy on the bowling score, used to love bowling. Yes, that fire was awful and you have to wonder how far the pollution will spread. They were hoping for rain to disperse it a bit but apparently there is only going to be drizzle.

I can't bowl Caff, I have to have those inflatable things down the side :) so well done G.  I missed 'x' factor too.  Have a good time at the Christmas show and give yourself a pat on the back, I put my tiles down too, it looks great don't it when it's done and knowing you've done it all yourself.
