Tuesday things

Just a short entry today as it's late and i don't have much to say LOL...Tomorrow is Burns day and M is doing the Selkirk Grace at his school burns supper for the primary section :o)

Selkirk Grace

Some hae meat and cannot eat

Some cannot eat that want it

But we hae meat and we can eat

Sae let the Lord be thankit

He's really pleased he passed the audition to do it :o) But i still cannae get him tae wear a kilt...Oops i went into doric dialect mode there <ggg>  I actually had to change the way i spoke completely for the boys...When i spoke to them in my doric dialect that i grew up speaking they looked at me blankly as if i was mad and speaking some foreign language...They have problems understanding my mum, sisters, nephew and nieces but they're getting a bit better...Just as well as i am slipping back more and more to it as the years go on :o) Mind you i use it all the time on phone or when we go up north to visit LOL

K asked me for pancake recipe the other day...I still haven't finished copying my mums receipes she did for me and little sis yet...So i wrote mums receipe down in email for her and sent it...Tonight she said everyone had eaten all her pancakes...Cool i said...No not cool they ate them ALL and she didn't get any...Awwww...She's made 3 lots and put raisins in one lot, cinnamon in another and left one lot plain...YUMMY...told her they must have been good if everyone pinhed them all...She did say her neighbour felt ill this morning but that was because the greedy sod had eaten heaps of them ROFL...Serves him right <ggg> So now she's been put in charge of making loads for her mates for Shrove tuesday LOL...And that is all for today folks G has his last prelim tomorrow then he's off for rest of the week and back properly on mon...Dunno when he gets any results but i will let you know how what he gets :o)

Shame M won't wear a Kilt - That is one picture I would love to see...Isn't it funny we all speak (via J-land) to each other but don't hear the different dialects.......Poor K not getting any of the pancakes - wish G good luck with his prelim - Ally
