16 today

 

Well i couldn't let his birthday go past without mentioning it...My wee baby boy is 16 today eeeks...Okies so G is older than M and not that wee anymore...No he's 6 feet tall and so grown up looking it's scary...I managed to drag myself into town near lunchtime to buy his pressie...Managed to hoover a bit for his 2 pals coming round...So far he's got £55 in cash, £20 cheque and £25 on a gift card for Game...It's a shop that sells computer and console games...I gave him a NintendoDS with a supermario kart game...M gave him Sonic Rush for the DS...K has no money so i got PokemonDash for DS from her...My mums card is late as she only posted yesterday as she got the dates muddled up...Nothing from america now there's a shock not <sigh> G has been off school again today but not because he is still poorly but there's a strike on...So G's school was closed today and tomorrow...M's is closed tomorrow and monday...Ahtletics is cancelled and Fun Club on sat is cancelled too :o(   It's the cleaners and dinnerladies who are on strike...Apparently it will be happneing for the next 3 weeks :o(

I feel i owe a kind of brief explanation for yesterday...Am still not alright but it's G's birthday so got to put a face on LOL...Am good at that you know...K still has no date to get seen...She won't be seen any quicker without going private which is not something i can afford...She's getting worse and has finally admitted that to me...Suffice to say it's at least once a day now :o(  What has hit me so hard is that they now have had her register with the disabilities officer at uni...I knew that this would happen but not with her...With G yes and with M for college yes but not with K...She may even be able to claim DLA :o(  Anyways that's enuff explanation and i better go put on these sausage rolls and chips for these lads...At least they're through in bedroom playing games and being quiet <ggg> If i had a scanner i'd have scanned a baby pic in to embarass him but he's lucky i haven't LOL
