The birthday

Yeah i have finally worked out how to get pics showing like we used to be able to LOL...Am not that good with techy stuff so it's taken me a while :o)

So G went to his pals on saturday and the rain did naff off so they did get the fireworks set off...He had cake and took me home some and also they had loads of party food...On sunday we went out for a meal after M was back from respite...My best friend, her wee lad, another family friend, 2 of G's friends and obviously us 4 all went along...K came up on saturday as a surprise for him...So when he got back from his friends he had a surprise behind the door LOL...The friend he was at on sat was one of the ones who came for the meal with us...His 2 pals had come round early so they were playing on the Wii before we went out and same afterwards...He got lots of money, a gift card for GAME (£40), M bought him a game he wanted and K went to the cadburys outlet shop and bought him a kilo of dairy milk LOL...The watch and the 'blokey' bracelet are too big for him so they will need links taken out of adjusted...He's been rather funny when telling people what he got as he keeps saying blokes pendant, blokes ring, blokes bracelet <g> He enjoyed just going for the meal but he wouldn't have a drink with the meal...I did ask if he wanted a pint and he said yeah of diet coke ROFL...I felt so sorry for the poor people who run the place we went to as we were a nightmare...You pick a table and then go up and order your food yourself...Well 3 of us wanted gammon steak and it had just sold out, the roast dinners had just sold out as well...M wanted a kiddies meal and there was a few other niggles...Also desserts we were almost as bad...G was the only one who didn't have a dessert as they had none left of what he wanted...Not that he minded like as he was stuffed full anyways but they did forget to take K's knickerbocker glory over...But still it was a good meal and the owners were lovely as they took over the cake all lit when i asked for it...My best pal had taken it down and handed it to them so G didn't know about it...His pressie from the states still hasn't arrived...Neither has his card from his gran and she posted it 1st class on saturday!!!!...IT has money in it so am a bit worried.

On saturday was the showing of the film they made with the Triple A team at a local cinema...G refused to go as he didn't want to see himself on the big screen LOL...It's very funny and they did well even if it is basically a home movie...They also quickly showed a thank you DVD the team made to send to everyone who has given them money or helped them with doing stuff over the last year :o) They got money from some local organisation that has enabled them to buy their own camera and editing stuff for computer...Also they got money from elsewhere which enabled a worker to be employed to work with them...M was very excited about the showing and i now know why...The beginning as him having his own talk show interviewing the 'actors' ROFL...We have copied on DVD and i am going to ask for an extra copy as shock horror their father would like to see it...Hmmmm he's being very weird of late...He's being pleasant to me and even wanting to talk about stuff on the phone...When before he had become really arsey for a few years...Better this way as it's better for the kids and better for me...And yes i'll send him over stuff if he's not going to be a complete arse about it all.

I do have other pics but i can't post them here yet...As they're pics i don't wish someone to see before they get them...Me and my best pal and K abandoned G for a while on sunday morning (he was still in bed anyways) and went for a nosey at a new local craft fair...And i was the only one who didn;t buy anything LOL...They had a few stalls that had jewellery but all were different...They had a stand with handmade cards but different to what i do...That woman does decoupage cards and i don't...I personally don't like them much but likewise she doesn't like ones like i make much...As we both said be a sorry place if we all liked same stuff and there is plenty room for both...She must have picked up on something i said and asked if i made myself...So we had a wee blether and discussed stuff and i said basically i was there to nosey and see about getting a stall at the next one...Which she isn't bothered about as our stuff is different :o) So am going to email and ask if i can have a stall at the next one they want to have in the summer...One of them i also got a business card from and am going to email her and ask where she finds local craft fairs and such like...I've run out of quite a few of the crystals and of some of the silver bits and am not going to buy in town...I'll wait a couple of weeks and order online in bulk...Meanwhile as i said am trying to do some headbands...So i have made a start but i have to sew on the embellishments first before i can actually cover the bands...And i need to file down and get rid of the teeth bits on the inside of the bands...Which wasn't working too well but am gonna try electronically...If that doesn't work them i'll pad the back...Maybe by next week i will have some pics fingers crossed.
