is this patronising or wot???

I got the new claim form through this morning...Blimey they were efficient for once...It also had a letter in with it and i want to ask if i am being a tad sensitive in thinking it is just a bit patronising...Tell me what you think

Regarding Disability Living Allowance

Further to my convesation with you today.

I have enclosed a further renewal claim pack and have addressed it back to myself.

your complaints regarding the service you received from the help line have been logged.

I am still trying to locate your son's paperwork that was sent to Blackpool from Edinburgh on 28/2/2007, it has still not arrived in the room as yet, but i will request that other rooms in the building check it has been sent to them in error.

I wish to apologise for the distress that has been caused and i will be in touch again soon.

From that i have to agree with edinburgh office that they just haven't bothered to look properly...Not much of an apology is it????? Well i don't think it is

Reads like the person who wrote didn't really give a monkey's. You would think they would be a bit more humble after the way they have handled your case.

If they have such a big building why have they not checked all the other rooms to begin with??  I reckon they are trying to fob you off there.

Caff I would say that is about all you would have gotten from them ~ all they are doing is covering their own backs ~ hope you will be able to take your complaints further as I am sure other people must have been treated as badly as you have ~ Ally

Not much of an apology is it... they just don't realise the grief it causes when there are problems do they.  Tut.

Not much of an apology but at least they are admitting blame and you will eventually get the backdated stuff, but they really mess with your life when they do that, we rely on that money.
