monday

Well i got the car back on saturday morning...Talk about kangaroo petrol, or diesel in my case, LOL...The car has hydraulic suspension which is fine except for speed bumps...Well when i picked the car up it was so high off the ground i felt like i was clambering into a 4 x 4 when i got into it...Then it bounced and bounced and bounced on way home...The cobbles in my street were hellish...I felt so sick...So parked the car in front of the flat HURRAH...Kept adjusting the lever for the suspension but made no difference...By that time garage was closed so thought grrrr gonna take it back first thing mon morning...As i managed to get parked in front of the flat i decided to wash it...I did manage but reaching the middle of the roof was a nightmare even on my tiptoes...So spent sat grumping about some stupid mechanic at garage that screwed up my suspension...Had to nip to asda late last nite and again i played around with the suspension lever in the car...Well low and behold once i started the car and the stop light went off the car lowered to the right position HURRAH...No more bouncy bouncy making me seasick LOL

Do you remember the NAS make school make sense campaign that me and Sara highlighted in our journals??? Well i got a letter from the House of Commons this morning...From my MP and here's what it said

Dear Ms <blank>

Thank you very much for your recent email regarding the Disabled Children (Family Support) Bill. I have not yet signed the EDM 321 which you refer to but i shall look at it very carefully. As requested I have written to the Secretary of State for Education and Skills and the Secretary of State for Health, and i will be in touch again as soon as i have responses.

Yours sincerely Frank Doran MP

Strange idea of recent LOL but at least i got a reply...I must write to my MSP about it also, that has to be done via snail mail and not email. But at least my MP did maybe read the email and may sign the EDM LOLOL...Wish i had Anne Begg instead although Frank Doran ain't too bad...But i bets Anne would sign the EDM...Need to go see how you can find out who has signed a specific EDM.

The boys have both been playing on the Wii loads so it's been peaceful all weekend BLISS...No arguements over stuff on it YET...Long may that continue...G has no school until wed so is being typical teen, not getting up till later, lazing in his jimjams all day LOL...M is home from school coughing and spluttering so possibly coming down with a cold, he sounds sniffly too...AS longs G doesn't get it...K's boyfriend has had the fluey bug and she is coughing with sore throat and tight chest...Well they can't blame me, i had it, got over it and none of them got it off me LOL...It's cold here today with rain and snow mixed...Not sleet as such but rain with big snowflakes falling amongst it but melting soons they touch the ground...Anyways must go buy some gas for the meter

You would hate where we live 13 massive speed bumps to get to your house!

I wish you so much luck with your campaign. We are facing the college issue at the moment but don't think the provision will be good enough, short end of the stick again.

Glad you heard back from your MP... recently though??  Lol!!  I didn't hear anything from mine, so I suppose it's a case of better late than never :o)

Hi Caff, oh dear, your car has been giving you a very bumpy ride then. I`m glad it sorted itself out now, you wouldn`t be able to put up with that for too long. Re: the reply from your MP to your `recent`email , better late than never I suppose! Let`s hope he follows up on it.

That's good news that you got the car sorted :)  Great that you've heard from the MP, I hope it's true that he has read it and it's not just someone reading it for him.  Glad the boys are enjoying their Wii ~ I'm dead jealous LOL

That was annoying about the car, I hope it is still behaving itself in the right position.  Hugs, Terry x
