The joys of sex education

Well it's later on and i have a headache from all the varnish fumes...Feel sick with them too...Horrible stuff but glad it's almost done...Decorator is back tomorrow to varnish the ceiling and that should be him done...Can laugh at it all earlier now like

When G got home i asked him about his last prelim result...He didn't have Graphic Communication today but he did bump into his teacher...His teacher said he got 70 something percent and that is an A pass as well...Will find out for defo tomorrow the result...K has done extremely well at uni for first semester, module erm am not sure what it's called i know it's not a term LOL...She'll sort me out when she leaves a comment <ggg> ...She's moving on sat to a new place HURRAH!!!!...It sounds really nice and the people in new place sound really nice...K darling read no further because you threatened to block me earlier LOL...I have to write it it's too funny not to :oP

I was sat here quietly reading some boards and emailing with Stuart when M caught me unawares...He came through from his room plonked himself down on the sofa and said 'you know i have been learning abotu STI's' ...I said no i din't but i am guessing that you had caledonia youth in today doing this weeks talk...They're the people doing sex and relationships education with his age group all this term at his school...I put the timetable parents got given in one of those *safe* places LOL...So he then said 'you know what an STI is don't you' ...I said yes i do...Thinking to myself is he going to ask me if i'd have one LOL...He didn't and i haven't LOL...He said they saw pictures of them and they were digusting and made him feel like he was going to puke...So thought ok better chat as he seems to want to chat about it...So i asked what do you do to prevent getting any STI's...He said 'not have any sex'...Well that's not always possible so what would you do asks me...You can wear a condom says he but there is a risk as it can split...And that was the end of our discussion as he wandered off back to his room...It was so funny, the joys of being a parent...Matter of fact, straight to the point, be totally logical autistic...Don't have sex then no STI...As he's vowed never to have another girlfriend then that would make sense to him...I am pleased he is wanting to speak about what he is learning and he has refused so far as he's felt embarassed but obviously STI's aren't embarassing...And am ending it there don't get nightmares ;o)

Isn't it funny the things our special kids will and wont talk about. My boy will tell me about sex education lessons but refuses to talk about his cooking lessons, lol.
