Woohoo school went back today :o) ...Not without a few hitches though...Well one major hitch <sigh> ...G's taxi firm packed in their contract yesterday afternoon...Just great, got told if i could take him and take him home then fine and if not that he wasn't to go in...Then later at about tea time there was a call from transport dept to say a different taxi firm would be taking him...I phoned the escort to find out more and she was as lost as me...Cept i knew more in that i'd been told that G would still be on her taxi...Then she said she'd been told she was being picked up at 7.10am...ARGH, EEEEEEKKKKSSSS bit early that...We're about 5 - 10 mins from hers...So i set alarm for 6.30am and got him up about 6.40am...Luverly not LOL...Taxi didn't come for him till 7.30am and the only reason they weren't mega early for school was one of the kids they sat and waited 15 mins for...Even then they were still early...Oh well it's temporary until some firm gets the contract...Hope it is this firm though as they're same firm as M has...M got up at 7.50am and he was a grumpy toerag about it...Even though he's been counting down the days much to G's disgust...He came home in a foul mood too and will be like this for at least a week...It's the changes that does it...Tomorrow i have to take him to school myself as he has maths at the other school first thing...The base were pleased with G's results :o) ...MrsP was impressed with his geography result <gggg> ...Neither of them will say how school went today though ROFL
My attempts at doing a webpage are taking a while...The programme am using you don't need to know anything about html, java, code of any kind <phew> ...I now have yet another new programme on my machine that i need to learn how to use which i know some of you do...Paintshop pro...Think i need to sit and spend yonks reading through it all before attempting anything LOL...I did manage to make buttons for my webpage though :o) ...I want to try make my own background if i can but that seems a bit hard just now...When it's uploaded and looks okies then i'll put a link in here...It's nothing fancy or even exciting but it's a start
K's back and still on the crutches...They put her in a wheelchair most of the weekend as it was easier...I gave her my gym gloves to use so her hands don't get so sore...If she still can't put weight on it and it's still swollen tomorrow then she has to go to A&E here...Already had to get her an appointment with my gp this morning...She had 2 lumps appear on her neck towards back of head yesterday...Turns out her glands are swollen due to impacted wisdom tooth...So she has antibiotics and got to try get an appointment with emergency out of hours dentist...Because her dentist is in edinburgh now...Wonder if i can manage to leave the boys without them killing each other to take her up to the dentist...IF we get an appointment could take a few days to get through and get one
Heard nothing back from anywhere i emailed :o( ...When the boys were at footie training last nite they got an invite to a 17th birthday party for same day as robbie gig...They weren't happy and that caused tempers to fray but eventually robbie won...Just as well because the tickets cost me a fortune as i bought the most expensive seats...Anyway am going to have a play with the web thingy again

Hope they get the taxis sorted out, such a bind. Good luck with your web page. I have looked at PSP, far too complicated for this old brain. I am sure they will enjoy Robbie more.

Hi Caff, What a nuisance with the taxis, I hope it gets sorted out soon. I didn`t realise the children went back to school this early in Scotland though I presume they have the same amount of time off as in England and Wales. I have, or had, Paintshop Pro but I gave up on it after almost tying my brain in knots. I`m sure you`ll do better than me though, no-one could do worse...lol! I hope K gets her teeth seen too soon, I had the same problem and was glad to be rid of them.

What a nightmare regarding the taxi's and having to get up so early!! Hope they get it sorted soon xx I have paint shop pro and not really learned what to do with it as I saw the book of instructions - it's huge!! Good luck with it and I can't wait to see your finished results.
Caff I hope they get the taxi's sorted soon ~ what a nuisance having to get up that early ~ I had paint shop pro but when I changed computers I lost it which I was really upset about havn't been able to get it back as yet am still trying though ~ I know you will get on with OK and wait to see the results you come up with ~ Ally
Caff I hope you managed to get an appointment for K. I hate waiting when I'm all ready to go somewhere so I'd be a little grr at waiting for a taxi, I hope that gets better too.
