Eeeks am really sorry i didn't mean to be so long in posting again...And this is just a quickie as i have to rush to Asda to do weekly shop before the rugby comes on...Mum got out of hospital the wed after she was taken in...We did rush up to see her on the sunday evening...The journey was horrendous with roadworks and sunday drivers dawdling along at 35 mph...A journey that should have taken about 75 mins took almost 2 hours :o( We also went to visit K on the monday and it was almost as bad a journey...But both were worth it to see mum and to see K :o) Mum got sent home to my younger sisters and then went home to her own place last sunday...Older sis got back from hols on the tues so found out then about mum being in hossie...To be honest mum looked awful :o( Am hoping after her birthday in a couple of weeks she stops not caring or wanting to do anything and perks back up again...Her own mum died when she was 75 and mum is that age now...Mum always dreaded being the same age as her mum was when she died...Am no psychologist but i swear that has affected mum to the point where she just couldn't care less about life anymore...In a couple of weeks she'll be 76 so over that dreaded number...Can but hope eh
M is thoroughly enjoying his one day a week at the local college...It's an SEN link course and next year he will go there on the full time SEN course...But boy is it making me feel my age as he's all grown up...G went to the open day at one of the local universities on wed and was well impressed with the engineering dept...He'd also been along to the offshore europe exhibition a few weeks back with his tech studies class...After speaking to several of the companies who had stands there he is now undecided on if he wants to do mechanical or electrical engineering...More on that later though...He's being a classroom assistant again this year...It's same class as he helped out with last year and his wee 1st years who are now more grown up 2nd years are chuffed to see him back with them :o) K is back at uni this week and also has a birthday this month...As she needs new glasses then i said i'd buy them for her for her birthday :o)
Promise i will write more later tonite or tomorrow i MUST go stock the fridge and larder before the rugby comes on :o)
Toodle pip tc xx

You're full of birthdays this month :) hope your Mum picks up after hers (you're so right that about the age thing, they tend to focus on that) Rache
Good to hear from you..that's funny about the age thing because my dad always thought he would die young because his dad died at age 62..now my dad is 74 and still going strong...my Mum died at age 66 and her Mum lived to be in her mid 80's...
have a good week..will keep your Mum in my prayers...
